The beginning
Al Moasat Association started its activities in 1956 with a free clinic founded by young members from the "Muslim Scouts"، they started in Saida Old City area to serve the deprived community close to the center.
At the early 60’s ، in cooperation with the Ministry of Social Affairs AL Moasat established “the Social Services Center” it was a significant shift in the association activities، we expanded to include more health services and training courses, which contributed greatly in the youth empowerment specially the girls with a profession that helps them to face the life hardships.
Evolution Stages
In the 1980’s, “Sidon Sewing Factory” was established.
The Association also expanded its activities and developed a Diabetes Center in collaboration with the Lebanese Diabetes Association.
At the year 1992 a private building was constructed in AL Kaya’a Saida City Area, it includes all the association projects and its various departments, which Became Al Moasat main center.
Al Moasat established Sidon Technical Institute in 1992 under the Decree No. 2705. The Institute started with two official specialties for the BT degree and two private specialties. As the community need for vocational education, increased, new private and official specialties were opened.
In 1995, the Association established the Moasat Catering to provide continuous funding for the charitable projects throughout the year. We serve oriental, Lebanese and international cuisine.
In 2019, Al Moasat completed the construction of its third building, which was established to receive social events، workshop and events.
