Saida — 26 May 2026. On the occasion of International Museum Day, and as part of educational activities designed to connect students with the heritage of their city, Sidon Technical Institute / Al Moasat organized a cultural visit to Debbane Palace and other historical landmarks in Saida. The activity included students from the Child Care and Assistant Accountant programs, accompanied by teachers and supervisors.
During the visit, students explored the palace and learned about its history dating back to 1721, its distinctive Ottoman-Arab architectural style, and its heritage collections that reflect an important part of Saida’s history and cultural identity.
The visit provided students with a valuable opportunity to gain firsthand cultural knowledge while deepening their appreciation of Lebanese heritage and the importance of preserving historical landmarks for future generations.
This activity forms part of the Institute’s ongoing educational and cultural programs aimed at strengthening national and cultural awareness and linking classroom learning with meaningful field experiences.
